It has been bugging me for a while, but why is it exactly that there are cargo pants for babies? What the heck do they need to carry around? And the fake pockets and the fake flies on little boys pants- yeah, those are necessary.
The two year olds in my daycare used to put sand in their pockets, from the playground. Perhaps the pockets for babies are training for when they need them for important sand relocation later?
