Tips wanted

It is looking very likely that I will be going to CA with Zachary by myself earlier than planned because of an imminent death in the family. The original plan was for all three of us to go, stay four nights, and come home together. Now, I will be traveling by myself with baby and staying at least ten days, maybe more depending on how scheduling works out. My parents already have a pack and play for him and some other items and I know there is nothing I can't buy once I get there, if need be. But I am an anxious flyer and a terrible overpacker, so I need all the travel advice I can get.

Five months old

My beautiful boy is five months old. And 28 inches long! And just over 18 pounds. The time has simply flown by and I look at my little miracle and no longer see a baby but an emerging little boy.

For Cinco de Mayo, we celebrated by introducing avocado. Baby guac received a neutral response.
